WELCOME ~ SAN MARCOS YOUTH BASEBALL ("SMYB")
SMYB's Mission is to provide the youth of our community with instruction and guidance in their development, 
both mentally and physically, in the game of Baseball while building their character and sportsmanship 
in a safe, positive, and fun environment.

PADRES DAY AT PETCO PARK
On Sunday, April 18, 2010 @ 1:05 p.m. - the Padres take on the Diamondbacks for our Annual Padres Day at Petco Park.  Every year the Padres and Pony, INC. join together in this special event to honor our youth baseball players.  All Pony Leagues are given great seats at discounted prices and all the players, managers, and coaches get to parade around the Padres field prior to game time.  Reserve your tickets NOW!  Click HERE for details. 


PITCHING CLINIC FOR COACHES
All Pinto, Mustang, Bronco & Pony managers and coaches are invited to attend a FREE pitching clinic which will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 4:30pm – 6:30pm at Bradley Field 4.  This clinic will be conducted by Sean Reese who is the pitching coach at Palomar College. Please note this clinic is NOT for players, just the managers.  Click HERE for further details about the clinic. 
HOMERUN CLUB 
If any player hits an actual, real "over-the-fence" homerun, send an email to mtrayer@cox.net.  In your email please include the player's Name, Division, Team, Date, and the Field the homerun was hit on.  The player's name will then be posted here on the website.  Click HERE to see the most recent SMYB Homerun Hitters.

WHY PONY BASEBALL???

If you like playing complete baseball, then PONY Baseball is for you. PONY Baseball allows lead offs, base stealing, and lots more big time baseball action. If you are looking for a more challenging baseball experience or just looking for a place to really improve your skills, then PONY Baseball is for you. Whatever your skill level, PONY baseball is the place for fun and a great baseball experience.

There are currently over 375 Major League Baseball players who are graduates of PONY Baseball. Mark McGwire Tony Gwynn, Alex Rodriguez and J.T. Snow are just a few of the Major League players who participated in PONY Baseball.
